MR MCDONALD was a bit all over the place on debut. A slow start didn't help his cause on debut either and he did well to finish runner-up on the Polytrack. He can only improve. PAST AND PRESENT must be respected. He has shown potential in the Western Cape and while in need of further he could enjoy the trip racing fresh. DIRECTOR's last run is best ignored. He has run well at this venue and must have a say on form even if having drawn wide. There wasn't much between DONMAGOO and DUBAI DUDE who should show more with racing.
